ERC experts conducted budgetary training for state and non-state agencies from Kyrgyzstan
The members of Management Board of the Economic Research Center and experts of the National Budget Group GubadIbadoglu and FuatRasulov visited to Bishkek from September 12 to 15 with invitation of United Nations Development Program in order to support the reforms in the field of management of Kyrgyz state budget. The main aim of the visit was to conduct trainings on design and methodology of program budget for local experts specialized in budgetary areas. The first training was attended by state agencies, parliamentarians and representatives from chamber of accounts of Kyrgyzstan, including 55 individuals from diverse ministries of the country. Along with the head of budgetary department of the Ministry of Finance there were chief of departments, auditors from the Chamber of Accounts, head of financial departments of different ministries, including the members of budgetary committee of Parliament among training participants. At the training they were trained about the conceptual, methodological and technical sides of classification of program budget.
Furthermore, this training was arranged for non-governmental organizations specialized in the field of budgetary issues as well. Additionally, the experts of ERC organized discussions over the documents of 2014 state budget prepared by local experts and made proposals regarding improvement of these documents.
ERC experts will once again visit to this country in November with a purpose to provide their continuous support to the reforms to be carried out in the field of budgetary issues. The aim of the next trip will be to make consultations on classification of budgetary program for specialists of the Ministry of Finance.
