The finalists for Summer Internship Program of Economic Research Center has been selected

The admission for Internship Programlaunched within the framework of “Enhancing the effectiveness of government by strengthening the role of think tanks in decision-making arena” project implemented by the Economic Research Center with financial support of the European Union (EU) and in partnership with Policy Association for an Open Society ( PASOS) and “Intelligent Citizen” Enlightenment Center (ICEC) has been completed.
The selection for thisprogram which allows undergraduate and graduate students of from universities to apply their economic knowledge practically and improve scientific research and professional skills was realized on two positions – External Relations and Research assistant. Nearly 50 applications were sent to the official e-mail address of the Economic Research Centerafter the announcement was disseminated and submitted to the prestigious universities of the country. The Selection Committee, comprised of the members of Management Board of ERC, decided to invite 15 students to the interview, the final round after reviewingthe applications. Five students that successfully passed the interview stage were selected as interns in Economic Research Center during July-August. These students are AyselNaibova (Azerbaijani State Economic University), NushabeAliyeva (Qafqaz University), RoyaneJafarquliyeva (Azerbaijan University), TuralKarimli (Azerbaijani State Economic University) and SevinjIsmayilova (Azerbaijani State Economic University).
It should be noted that the analogical Internship Program in the Economic Research Center is organized twice a year - summer and winter sessions. Along with local students, there were a few students from foreign universities benefited from the research skills of the Economic Research Center since the beginning of the program.
